FESTIVOdesign is a meticulous and innovative design studio, that thrives on curiosity for production techniques, the search for materials and processes that allow them to project their ideas, and their love of things well made.
Born in Colombia, where they graduated in Product Design in Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Carolina Giraldo and Mauricio Chamie later moved to Spain where they collaborated with firms like Alvaro Catalán de Ocón, Xyloformas, Catalina Estrada, Ordning & Reda, and Empty, amongst others.
The experience they gathered during these years and a restlessness for creating their own products and developing projects for themselves and others led them to open FESTIVOdesign, a studio where collaboration is a constant, dialogue and consensus are a way of life, and the search for technical solutions to design challenges are the working force.
